Join us in our shared mission of opening the world through education.\nWorking at EF\nCareer Progression at EF\nResponsibilities\nDeliver engaging Maths/Physics classes to our UP students\nIf qualifications/previous experience allow, teach other specialist modules (e.g. Physics, Accounting, Computer Science, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods)\nPlan and prepare lessons using EF’s curriculum and blended learning approach\nTrack student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback\nFacilitate testing and maintain academic records\nParticipate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions\nContribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment\nSupport students in achieving their learning goals through tutorials and guidance\nThe ideal teacher\nHold a BA/BSc (minimum) in the relevant subject to teach Maths/Physics\nTeach Physics/Accounting/Computer Science/Research Methods where appropriate\nTeaching or tutoring experience in any setting\nTEFL/CELTA qualification (desirable but not essential)\nPassionate, professional, dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible\nHighly motivated, proactive, and positive, with a keen sense of initiative, who can take responsibility when necessary\nKeen interest in up-to-date teaching methodology and developments, with a strong desire to develop teaching skills and knowledge\nAble to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to both classroom and professional issues\nSensitive to students’ academic & welfare needs\nRight to work in the UK at commencement of employment\nClean background check and two references\nWhy You’ll Love Working with EF\nInternational environment with diverse students and staff\nOngoing professional development and career growth opportunities\nSocial events and staff community\nSupportive and innovative teaching environment\nWealth of teaching resources and curriculum\nEmployee assistance program\nAccess to EF Hello language learning\n----------------------------------\nEF is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
