The candidate will act as a technical authority, driving architectural decisions while contributing to overall technology strategy.\nKey Responsibilities\nSystem Architecture\nDefine and own end-to-end system architecture across platform-level and system-of-systems solutions.\nTranslate operational and mission needs into clear, structured technical requirements.\nDrive architectural trade-offs, performance allocation, and interface definitions.\nEnsure scalability, modularity, and long-term evolution of system designs.\nEngineering Leadership\nBuild, structure, and lead a multidisciplinary engineering team (systems, embedded, RF, AI).\nOwn hiring, mentoring, and performance management.\nEstablish engineering processes, culture, and best practices.\nAlign team execution with strategic and program objectives.\nTechnical Execution\nStay hands-on in critical technical areas, including:System integration\nArchitecture validation\nKey technical decision-making\n\nOversee full development lifecycle: concept → design → prototype → production.\nEnsure timely and high-quality delivery of engineering outputs.\nSystems Engineering & Methodology\nImplement and enforce Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.\nMaintain full traceability from requirements to validation.\nDefine system models, interfaces, and verification strategies.\nStandardize engineering workflows and documentation.\nCompliance & Integration\nEnsure alignment with relevant defense standards and certification processes.\nCoordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, product, and production teams.\nSupport system validation in operational and real-world environments.\nRequired Skills\nCore Experience\n>8 years in systems engineering or system architecture.\nProven experience in complex system or system-of-systems design.\nBackground in defense, aerospace, or similarly demanding engineering domains.\nTechnical Depth\nStrong understanding of:Embedded systems.\nSensing or RF-based systems (e.g., radar).\nIntegration of advanced algorithms (e.g., AI/ML) into real-world systems.\n\nLeadership\nExperience leading engineering teams (minimum 3-5 engineers).\nProven ability to scale teams and drive execution.\nStrong decision-making and ownership mindset.\nStandards & Processes\nFamiliarity with defense-related standards and certification environments.\nExperience working within structured engineering and validation frameworks.\nNice-to-Have\nExperience with counter-drone or air-defense-related systems.\nBackground in signal processing
