We are seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist with a proven track record supporting Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), Environmental, and other Professional Services pursuits. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing high-quality, compliant, and persuasive RFP/RFQ responses, partnering with technical subject matter experts, and managing multiple pursuit deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical to helping our teams win new business by delivering compelling proposals that showcase technical capabilities, project experience, and client value. Preference will be given to candidates located on the East Coast; however, other U.S. locations will be considered if candidates have demonstrated experience supporting public-sector RFP/RFQ pursuits.\nPRIMARY PURPOSE: To develop and respond to requests for information and proposals; to collaborate with various subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the proposals are completed timely and accurately; and to provide oversight of quality and cohesiveness of response.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES \nReviews and vets RFP & RFQ opportunities in collaboration with regional leadership & SMEs, coordinating and responding to ensure timely and accurate submissions\n\nProvides initial draft of each request to various subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and incorporates any needed edits or updates to the response.\n\nEnsures initial draft is compliant, responsive, and specifically tailored to each client’s needs.\n\nEnsures security and integrity of all proposal documentation.\n\nWorks collaboratively with the SMEs to ensure new requirements are identified and documented.\n\nFacilitates internal flow and review of all proposal inputs and directs production of final master proposal.\n\nDetermines and maintains the timeline for each response to ensure that deadlines are met.\n\nHelps develop and maintain proposal best practices.\n\nTakes on additional assignments, such as RFP follow-up requests, proposal library update projects and other ad hoc assignments.\n\n5+ years of professional experience required, preferably within a related industry such as engineering, construction, architecture, or other professional service.\n\nADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nSupports the organization’s quality program(s).\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Licensing \nBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.\nExperience Requirements\nMinimum of four (4) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nAt least one (1) year of project management experience required\nAt least one (1) year of proofreading and editing experience required\nPreferred / Advanced Experience\nEight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 annually.
