With over 600 experts across 10 countries, we bring together leading talent from the Nordics, continental Europe, the UK, and the Americas.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an experienced Group Chief Accountant to play a key role in the next stage of our Finance journey.\nYou’ll take ownership of accounting integrity, financial control and compliance across our international Group, while helping us build a more consistent, scalable and group-led Finance function.\nCombining strong technical accounting expertise with people leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to develop our Finance team, improve how we work and help shape the future of Finance at Eficode.\nYour Key Responsibilities:\nOwn the Group balance sheet and cash flow, ensuring accuracy and strong financial control.\n\nLead, coach and develop members of our Finance team.\n\nDrive consistency and standardisation across Group accounting processes, controls and ways of working.\n\nLead key areas of tax, treasury, banking, liquidity, transfer pricing and financial compliance.\n\nCoordinate external audits and strengthen our internal control environment.\n\nSupport the management of foreign exchange exposure and wider financial risks.\n\nPlay a key role in Finance transformation as we move towards a more scalable, group-led operating model.\n\nPartner with Finance leadership and stakeholders across our international organisation.\n\nSuccess Factors:\n10+ years’ experience in accounting, financial control or a similar senior Finance role.\n\nA professional accounting qualification or equivalent relevant experience.\n\nStrong technical accounting expertise across balance sheet management, cash flow, tax, audit and internal controls.\n\nProven experience leading and developing Finance professionals.\n\nExperience working in a complex, multi-entity and/or international organisation.\n\nExperience supporting Finance transformation, process improvement or operating model change.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nFluent English language skills, both written and spoken.\n\nDesired skills and qualifications\nIt would be an added bonus if you have:\nExperience within a group-led or centralised Finance function.\n\nExperience supporting post-acquisition integration.\n\nKnowledge of treasury, banking, liquidity, debt, foreign exchange and transfer pricing.\n\nFinnish or Swedish language skills would be beneficial.\n\nAbout you\nThe type of person we’re looking for is:\nA confident Finance leader who can balance technical detail with the bigger picture.\n\nA supportive people manager who enjoys developing others and building effective teams.\n\nProactive and improvement-focused, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working.\n\nCollaborative and pragmatic, with the ability to build relationships across teams and countries.\n\nComfortable working in an evolving environment and bringing greater structure, consistency and clarity.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nPlay a key role in our Finance transformation and help shape how we work as we continue to scale.\n\nHelp shape our Finance team culture, develop the team and support the move towards a more consistent, group-led approach.\n\nGenerous paid holiday\n\nHealth insurance & pension scheme\n\nLearning & development - We have knowledge sharing sessions, team activities, technical and soft skills trainings to all Eficodeans\n\nRegular social events, lunches and code camps\n\nA work laptop, phone and necessary work equipment\n\nTo find out more about life at Eficode, and hear what our people think about us, clickhere.\nReady to build with us?
