This position performs a variety of quality assurance and quality control activities, including incoming and outgoing inspections, in-process inspections, first-piece approvals, dock audits, material disposition support, and the identification and documentation of nonconforming materials and products.\n\nDUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nShipping / receiving inspection\nAssist with PPAP process\nDock audits\nSort damaged material and repack if necessary\nTrack scrap from area\nMaintain MRB area \nPerform ISO9001 audits\nAssist with production as needed\nMaintain 5S activities\nPerforms other duties assigned\nReports to Director of Quality \nAssist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)\nConduct first piece approval audits\nAll other duties as assigned\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent\nStrong knowledge of PPAP for manufacturing processes\nBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office\nMust be able to read a ruler, tape measure and other measuring devices\nAbility to effectively communicate in English (Read, write and speak)\nTwo years of prior quality control experience preferred\nISO9001 certified auditor (preferred)\nDetail oriented/organized\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to stand or walk for extended periods of time\nOccasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping\nLifting, carrying, pulling and pushing up to 40lbs\n\nCOMPANY OVERVIEW\nAn industry leader in providing practical solutions to foam molding and fabrication, EFP has a diversified product offering and serves the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical, automotive, recreational vehicle, appliance, plumbing, consumer goods, and building and construction industries.
