The intern will support the Compliance & Licensing Team in the renewable energy sector by assisting with regulatory submissions, documentation, project coordination, and liaison with authorities, gaining hands-on experience in compliance and licensing processes.\n\nRequirements\nResponsibilities:\n\nCompliance & Licensing Support\n\nAssist in preparing, organising, and submitting documents to relevant authorities (TNB, SEDA, ST, MIDA, etc.).\n\nSupport the team in tracking licensing progress, permit applications, and regulatory submissions.\n\nEnsure all documents comply with regulatory guidelines and internal standards.\n\nDocumentation & Administrative Tasks\n\nMaintain accurate records, files, and project documentation (contracts, invoices, permits, reports, etc.).\n\nAssist in preparing letters, forms, and submission packages.\n\nSupport tender documentation, simple BOQ preparation, and contract paperwork.\n\nProject Coordination Assistance\n\nHelp coordinate administrative tasks with project teams.\n\nSupport in gathering project data and information needed for compliance submissions.\n\nAssist in follow-ups with internal teams and external parties.\n\nStakeholder & Authority Liaison (Support Role)\n\nSupport communication with government authorities under supervision.\n\nAssist in responding to inquiries and preparing information requested by clients or authorities.\n\nReporting & Information Management\n\nAssist in preparing simple reports, tracking sheets, and updates for the team.\n\nHelp with meeting minutes, data entry, and documentation for internal reviews.\n\nContinuous Improvement\n\nParticipate in identifying gaps or areas to improve documentation and compliance workflows.\n\nPropose simple improvements in workflow efficiency, file organisation, or tracking methods.\n\nAd Hoc Tasks\n\nAssist in any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.\n\nQualifications & Competencies:\n\nCurrently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Energy Management, or related field.\n\nNo prior experience required; previous internship in compliance, licensing, engineering, or administration is an advantage.\n\nGood communication skills (verbal & written).\n\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\n\nProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\n\nBasic critical thinking and problem-solving ability.\n\nFamiliarity with document filing and administrative processes is beneficial.\n\nInterest in renewable energy, compliance, regulatory processes, or project coordination.\n\nFluency in English;
