The successful candidate will lead the implementation of quality improvements following an external review, and establish a robust testing framework and governance model to enhance quality across the organisation.\n\n3-Month Interim Contract\n\nRemote Work\n\nInternational Client\n\nAustralian Working Hours (AEST/AEDT)\n\nMust Have\n\nProven experience in setting up test governance or a testing framework for an organisation (not just test execution)\n\nExperience in implementing a risk-based testing approach\n\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans\n\nExperience with MS Dynamics CE\n\nExperience coordinating SIT and UAT with business users and third-party vendors\n\nExperience defining test approaches for data migration and system integrations Experience in coaching teams and handing over a framework for others to run\n\nAustralian Working Hours (AEST/AEDT)\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSet up a Quality Engineering (QE) governance model including roles, responsibilities, decision rights, quality gates and release readiness controls\n\nDefine standard testing practices across planning, design, execution, defect management, risk management and reporting\n\nMake requirements more testable with clear acceptance criteria, traceability and alignment to business processes\n\nA Implement risk-based testing for critical business processes, integrations, data migration and user/member journeys\n\nMaximise the use of Azure DevOps for test planning, execution, defect tracking, reporting and quality dashboards\n\nDefine standard test artefacts including test plans, test scripts,defect taxonomy, test completion reports and release readiness evidence o\n\nImprove SIT and UAT readiness with clear expectations for business stakeholders, vendors and project teams\n\nRecommend practical improvements to test environments and test data\n\nDevelop a transition plan for the client or ongoing partner to continue the framework after the initial engagement\n\nNice to Have\n\nTest environment and test data management\n\nExperience in member-based, insurance or not-for-profit organisations\n\nISTQB Advanced Test Manager or similar
