Join us to define the AI strategy and coach the developers who build it.\nAs part of the department\nAs Software Architect at EG Construction, you will shape the technical direction of EG Ajour, including how we apply AI to reduce complexity and work smarter. You will design solutions that are not just elegant on a whiteboard, but scalable and realistic for our development team to build.\nYou will work most closely with the developers in the product team, our Product Owner and our Product Manager, partnering with them on everything from architectural decisions to sprint-level trade-offs. You will be the person who can explain a complex technical decision clearly, whether you are talking to a developer or a Product Manager.\nYour role: Software Architect\nDesign and own scalable, maintainable software architecture that the development team can realistically scope and deliver.\n\nTranslate complex business and technical requirements into clear designs, and explain the reasoning and trade-offs to developers and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nDefine and implement the AI strategy for Ajour, with the goal of having it in place within your first 6 month.\n\nOwn the technical roadmap and measurably simplify Ajour's codebase and solution complexity using AI within your first year.\n\nGuide, coach and support developers from design through code review, and be a sparring partner to our Product Manager on feasibility, risk and scalability.\n\nOwn the quality, security and performance of the architecture, and lead architectural reviews that keep decisions documented and accessible.\n\nWhat you bring\nWe care more about what you can do than what your CV looks like. Here's what will set you up for success:\nMust-have\nStrong understanding of, and genuine curiosity about, AI, with a track record of using it actively in your daily engineering work and applying it to real engineering problems.\n\nSolid experience in software design, development and architecture.\n\nExperience solving problems with significant data complexity.\n\nA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.\n\nStrong communication skills: you make complexity understandable for developers, product management and other stakeholders.\n\nGenuine interest in coaching and mentoring developers, and in building solutions together rather than over their heads.\n\nCommercial awareness: an instinct for how architectural choices affect customer value and time-to-value.\n\nMotivation to work in an international team.\n\nYou can speak and write both Danish and English fluently.\n\nNice to have\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum teams\n\nFamiliarity with modern DevOps, CI/CD and observability practices\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nReal ownership - Own your work end-to-end, with the autonomy to make decisions that matter.
