Our multidisciplinary expertise enables us to deliver innovative, practical and sustainable solutions that help build more balanced, resilient communities.\nAt Egis, you’ll be part of a business shaping the future of cities, transport, energy and the built environment, creating lasting impact where it matters most.\n As a Civil Engineer within our Urban Development team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects.\nYou will be responsible for\nDeliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment\nDesign of major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatments\nDeliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with MRWA standards\nPrepare relevant servicing and development reports\nWork closely with the other members of the Urban Development team and sub-consultants\nFostering relationships with current and potential clients building on your existing networks to generate new business\n Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a civil engineer within a consultancy environment with demonstrated knowledge of land development projects local to ACT. In addition, you will also have:\nTertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering\nValid full drivers license\nA thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to land development, storm water, sewer, hydraulics, flood modelling, civil infrastructure and roads\nDesign of multi-disciplinary projects using 12D and Autocad\nAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to run projects within budget and on time\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements\n Want to help build a more balanced, sustainable, and resilient world?
