Join a team where innovation is encouraged, collaboration is valued, and your work helps build a more sustainable future.\n Egis Group is seeking entry-level and early-career Civil Engineers (0-4 years of experience) to join our growing Stormwater Practice.\nThis role provides the opportunity to work on meaningful stormwater and drainage projects across Texas while receiving mentorship from experienced Professional Engineers. You’ll collaborate on technical designs, assist with project delivery, and gain hands-on experience with advanced hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling tools.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nContribute to Design Excellence: Perform drainage analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, and plan set production for urban and transportation-related stormwater projects.\nCollaborate Across Disciplines: Work with multidisciplinary teams-including technical staff, surveyors, and utility engineers-to develop high-quality designs and interpret plans from other disciplines.\nSupport Project Delivery: Assist in planning, budgeting, schedule tracking, and delivering engineering solutions to meet client goals.\nBuild Stormwater Expertise: Gain experience working on projects such as stormwater master planning, urban drainage design, roadway and rail H&H design, FEMA floodplain studies, and technical reviews.\n Learn and Grow: Work under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), receiving guidance and mentorship to develop your skills and work toward professional licensure.\n Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering\nEIT certification or the ability to obtain an EIT certification within six months of hire.\n0-4 years of experience in engineering analysis, design, or related fields.\nThe ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and Civil 3D.\nExperience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS\nFamiliarity with 2D modeling software such as HEC-RAS 2D, XPSWMM, or InfoWorks ICM.\nExperience with ArcGIS for spatial analysis.\nPrevious exposure to TxDOT or municipal drainage design projects.\n Why You'll Thrive at Egis\nAt Egis, you'll do more than build your career-you'll help shape the future of infrastructure.
