It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it’s a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.\nWe’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract and are looking for a Digital Programme Manager to work under the Business Planning and Performance department in the Digital and Information Team for the M25 DBFO - supporting the delivery of a complex programme of digital changes. Management of several tactical digital projects as part of the programme.\nDeliver the Programme of work in line with a structured methodology for technology projects on the M25, reporting progress, risks and issues to senior stakeholders and developing, managing and tracking the programme plan. Ensure that the programme progress is tracked from a financial prospective. The main focus of delivery for this role is the re-platform of our Asset Maintenance and Operations systems and implementation of associated integrations. This is a wide ranging and exciting undertaking for the company and one which will transform how the business operates.\nThe role can be based in Leatherhead, Dartford or South Mimms.\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment of a Programme Mobilisation Pack, including programme charter, roadmap, governance model, and initial controls framework\nProduction of an Asset Management Systems strategy, including options analysis and recommended target state\nDefinition of a delivery approach and integration considerations across systems and stakeholders \nDevelopment of an Outline Business Case, including costs, benefits, risks, and a benefits realisation approach\nPreparation of executive briefing materials to support decision-making \nDesign of programme reporting and control frameworks (including financial and progress reporting templates) \nFacilitation of stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops and structured engagement to support alignment on programme direction leveraging inputs from individual projects.\nAdherence to the technology project delivery methodology, including development of key project artefacts\nManagement of all commercial processes in conjunction with the CPS commercial team\nRegular updates on progress made and status reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and the Digital and Data Delivery Lead\nCapture, measurement and tracking of key project benefits in conjunction with the Finance team\nReporting at key governance forums on progress made, such as the CPS Change Board\nIdentification, reporting and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies\n Essential\nSuccessfully managing Programmes with multiple tactical projects\nIdentifying and capturing programme benefits\nStatus reporting on programme delivery \nEngaging programme level stakeholders\nWorking to programme and project lifecycle and developing key documentation\nDeep experience in the end to end delivery of Digital Programmes including requirements capture, systems configuration, integration, testing and deployment.\nProgramme shaping and business case development\nDesirable\nUnderstanding of the Highways industry\nInterdependency identification and tracking\nExperience of application of AI within operational systems architecture.\n Equality, Diversity & Inclusion\nWe are an Equal Opportunities employer and we strive to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we represent.
