Document Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team for an exciting port project in Kuwait. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project-related documents, ensuring efficient information flow, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system for the port project
- Receive, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents
- Ensure all documents are properly filed, indexed, and easily retrievable
- Coordinate with project team members to collect, review, and process technical documents
- Maintain version control and track document revisions
- Prepare and distribute regular document status reports
- Assist in the development and implementation of document control procedures
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely document submissions
- Perform quality checks on documents to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications
- Manage the electronic document management system and train users as needed
- Support design review and construction supervision processes by facilitating document access and distribution
- Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation
- University Degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or engineering projects
- Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with project management software
- Familiarity with CAD software is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
