In this role, you'll take ownership of electrical system design and implementation for building and infrastructure projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant electrical solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical expertise while contributing to meaningful projects that impact our organization's success.\nDesign and develop power distribution layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), and comprehensive electrical calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and fault level studies\nCreate detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and load calculations that meet project requirements and adhere to safety standards\nSupport procurement activities by preparing technical datasheets, material requisitions, and conducting vendor reviews to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, and architectural professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs\nConduct site inspections and supervise electrical installation work to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards\nEnsure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (IEC/IEEE), local electrical codes, and safety regulations\nProvide technical support for site queries and actively participate in commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery\nContribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts to support timely and cost-effective project completion\nAnalyze and troubleshoot electrical system challenges, providing innovative solutions that enhance performance and reliability\n Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field\n2-5 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering for building or infrastructure projects\nStrong proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, or equivalent power system analysis and design platforms\nSolid knowledge of electrical standards and codes (IEC, IEEE) and their practical application in design\nDemonstrated expertise in power distribution systems, lighting design, and emergency electrical systems\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical challenges\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams\nProficiency in preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications\nFamiliarity with site supervision and commissioning processes\nKnowledge of electrical safety practices and compliance requirements\nProject management fundamentals and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently\nPreferred: Experience with power system studies, substation design, or industrial electrical systems\nPreferred: Certification in electrical safety or relevant professional credentials\n Equality, Diversity & Inclusion\nWe are an Equal Opportunities employer and we strive to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we represent.
