Responsibilities:\nProducing detail designs, concept stage to IFC stage for pressurized water network, firefighting, irrigation; pumping stations, water storage tanks ; and other water-related projects\nUndertake model build and calibration of water network hydraulic models using a range of modelling software and other tools including spreadsheets.\nSurge Analysis, Transient wave analysis\nHydraulic modelling and design of Bulk infrastructure and reticulation systems (distribution, transmission, pumping), Pumpstation and reservoir designs\nPreparation of project specifications, bill of quantities and tender documentation, Data sheets.\nWater master planning.\nP&I of pumping stations/Water Tanks.\nDesign Pump duty condition/ system curve, pump parallel/series operation\nCarry out system performance analysis, development assessment and operational scenario planning using hydraulic models and other tools as required.\nPrepare report for modelling projects suitable for review and client presentation.\nProvide input into project activities, including fee estimating and scoping of projects.\nWork proactively within a team to ensure the production of quality deliverables.\nPreparation of Specifications, Data sheets\nExperience:\n5-7 years of hands-on experience in detail design for Water Infrastructure projects in Road, Rail and urban projects.\nExperience in the design of water demand management and design of water reticulation systems, reservoirs, pumpstations - advantageous\nSkilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration using hydraulic modelling tools. \nExperience in the design water network designs.\nKnowledge and understanding of international codes and standards.\nAbility to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis. \nSkills:\nCan work collaboratively with different team members and across cross-cultural teams\nCan work independently and/or under minimum supervision\nCommunicate effectively within the team and externally.\nExcellent self-management skills, including working effectively without direct supervision.\nExcellent Knowledge in both theoretical/practical and software domains\nPresenting project details and technical information to colleagues and clients\nProficient in Windows 2000 or later, MS Word/Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.\nGood report
