The company delivers bridge, marine, and infrastructure projects across the region.\n Financial Controller\nLocation: Dubai, UAE\nReporting to: Regional Finance Director\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to act as the right hand to the Regional Finance Director and lead the day-to-day finance operations across the region.\nThis is a senior leadership role with responsibility for Financial Control and Finance Systems (ERP). The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring robust financial governance, delivering accurate and timely reporting, supporting business growth.\nThe Financial Controller will work closely with operational and business leaders, providing financial insight, challenging performance, and helping to drive continuous improvement across the organisation.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinance Leadership\nProvide leadership and direction to the Accounting, Working Capital, COS and ERP teams.\nFoster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.\nSupport the development, coaching and succession planning of the finance team.\nDeputise for the Regional Finance Director when required.\nFinancial Control and Reporting\nEnsure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting across all entities.\nLead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.\nReview management accounts, balance sheets and cash flow reporting.\nEnsure compliance with Group policies, accounting standards and local statutory requirements.\nMaintain a strong internal control environment and governance framework.\nPlanning and Performance Management\nLead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.\nProvide insightful analysis of financial performance, risks and opportunities.\nChallenge assumptions and drive improved forecasting accuracy.\nSupport executive decision-making through high-quality financial analysis and reporting.\nProject and Operational Controlling\nOversee project financial performance and profitability reporting.\nReview project forecasts, margins, risks and commercial exposures.\nEnsure consistency and quality in project financial reviews.\nSupport operational management in delivering financial targets.\nERP and Finance Transformation\nOversee finance systems governance and data quality.\nLead finance process improvement and automation initiatives.\nSupport ERP enhancements and digital transformation projects.\nDrive standardisation and efficiency across finance processes.\n Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.\nProfessional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).\nSignificant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.\nProven experience leading accounting and finance teams within a multi-entity organisation.\nStrong technical accounting, financial control and reporting expertise.\nExperience of project-based businesses would be advantageous.\nExcellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.\nStrong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.\nExperience of ERP systems and finance transformation
