Rotations will allow you to explore different disciplines and understand the full lifecycle of major projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nEssential\nGood understanding of core civil engineering principles, including earthworks, drainage, geotechnics, structures and infrastructure design.\nStrong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, survey information, specifications and technical data.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.\nCompetence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.\nAbility to manage assigned tasks and work to agreed deadlines.\nWillingness to undertake site visits and travel as required.\nDesirable\nInternship, placement or project experience within an engineering consultancy, contractor, developer, utility or infrastructure organisation.\nExposure to renewable energy projects, particularly wind, solar, BESS or grid infrastructure.\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.\nExperience with GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS.\nExposure to ground investigation, earthworks, drainage, road design or foundation engineering.\nAwareness of Eurocodes and relevant Irish/UK engineering standards.\nUnderstanding of construction health and safety requirements.\nFull driving licence\n Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering (minimum 2.1) from an accredited institution.\nLevel 9 postgraduate qualification in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Environmental or Energy Engineering would be advantageous.\nDegree meeting, or capable of meeting, the academic requirements for progression toward Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland or an equivalent professional institution.\n We are committed to our planet\nIn each project we design, engineer and operate we care deeply about the legacy we’re leaving behind.
