The Senior BIM Modeller will be responsible for the day-to-day production of detailed HVAC models, ensuring compliance with project BIM standards, Level of Information Need (LOIN) requirements, and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).\nThe role also provides technical support and guidance to junior team members, ensuring modelling outputs meet project quality standards while facilitating effective multidisciplinary coordination.\nCore Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain accurate HVAC Revit models across all project stages.\nProduce detailed BIM models covering:Chilled Water Systems\nCondenser Water Systems\nAir Handling Units (AHUs)\nFan Coil Units (FCUs)\nSupply, Return, Extract and Fresh Air Ductwork Systems\nSmoke Extract and Pressurization Systems\nVRF and Split Air Conditioning Systems\nDistrict Cooling Interfaces\nPlantroom and Roof-Level Equipment Layouts\n\nEnsure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), modelling standards, and Level of Information Need (LOIN) requirements.\nAssist the HVAC BIM Coordinator in preparing models for clash detection and coordination reviews.\nImplement coordination comments, design revisions, and clash resolution updates accurately and promptly.\nMaintain model health and integrity through routine audits and quality checks.\nGenerate project documentation including:General Arrangement Drawings\nShop Drawings\nSections and Details\nEquipment Schedules\nDuct and Pipe Annotation Drawings\n\nCoordinate closely with Mechanical Engineers, BIM Coordinators, Architects, Structural Engineers, and other MEP disciplines.\nEnsure all deliverables are completed within agreed project timelines and quality standards.\nManage assigned project model packages with minimal supervision.\nEscalate modelling and coordination issues to the BIM Coordinator proactively.\n Key Result Areas\nCompany Values & Leadership\nDemonstrate behaviours consistent with company values and professional standards.\nPromote collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence within project teams.\nSupport knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to team development.\nTechnical Excellence\nMaintain proficiency in Revit MEP and associated BIM technologies.\nEnsure models are technically accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements.\nParticipate in clash resolution and multidisciplinary coordination activities.\nStay informed of industry best practices, BIM standards, and emerging technologies.\nSupport implementation of ISO 19650 information management principles and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.\nQuality & Project Delivery\nDeliver BIM models in accordance with company standards and client requirements.\nPerform model audits and quality reviews.\nVerify completeness and accuracy of drawings, schedules, and model outputs.\nEnsure consistent application of BIM standards across assigned projects.\nHealth, Safety & Environment\nConduct all work in a safe and responsible manner.\nComply with Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures.\nReport hazards, incidents, and safety concerns promptly.\nAdhere to project-specific safety and quality requirements.\nKey Role Skills\nAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.\nStrong understanding of HVAC systems and building services coordination.\nExperience in family creation and editing.\nKnowledge of shared parameters, worksets, templates, and BIM standards.\nGood understanding of clash detection and coordination processes.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and quality control.\nProblem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to mentor and support junior BIM professionals.\nCapability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously.\n Equality, Diversity & Inclusion\nWe are an Equal Opportunities employer and we strive to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we represent.
