If you share this belief, we invite and encourage you to join us in constructing that future with Inhabit.\nAbout the Role\nThe role includes:\nAssisting with the design and engineering of façades for building projects in Hong Kong and across Asia.\nCarrying out engineering calculations and basic structural analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.\nAssisting in the preparation of calculation reports, drawings and technical documentation.\nSupporting the review of shop drawings, material submissions and contractor-provided calculations.\nParticipating in site and factory inspections relating to façade fabrication and installation alongside senior team members.\nParticipating in meetings alongside senior team members to provide engineering input to the design process.\nDaily communication with the Associates and team members to ensure project alignment.\nDeveloping knowledge of façade systems, materials, construction methods and relevant local codes and standards.\n\nRequirements (Compulsory)\nSkills and Experience\nHigher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.\nFresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant engineering or construction experience are welcome to apply.\nBasic understanding of structural engineering principles and an interest in façade engineering and building design.\nBasic proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering software.\nStrong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Cantonese.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProactive, willing to learn and able to work effectively as part of a team.\n\nRequirements (Preferred)\nPrevious internship or project experience related to façade, structural or building engineering would be an advantage.\nKnowledge of Finite Element Analysis software (e.g. Strand7, SAP2000).\nFamiliarity with structural engineering and engineering calculations.\nKnowledge of Hong Kong building regulations and submission requirements would be an advantage.\nProficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage.\n\n We offer ample opportunities for career development and attractive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications.
