Through the wide range of our activities, we are central to the collective organization of society and the living environment of citizens all over the world.\n We are looking for a Maintenance and Facility Manager for our Sacramento, CA office to work on the CA HSR project.\nThis position is based in Sacramento, CA and will require relocation for any candidates outside the local area.\nKey Responsibilities\nActs as Subject Matter Expert within the California HSR Authority\nResponsible for initial definition of maintenance requirements\nEstablish and maintain asset management policies and routines, including: Asset inventory and criticality classification\nPreventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs\nInspection and condition-monitoring plans, thresholds, and escalation rules\n\nSpecification of associated support facilities at the end of the design phase\nSupporting designers through to the start of construction\nScope of Support Facilities:Maintenance of Way Facilities (for HSR infrastructure)\nRolling Stock Maintenance Facilities (heavy and light)\nOperations Control Center (OCC)\nRailheads supporting HSR line construction\n\nTeam Management:Directly oversees a rolling stock expert\nManages, on a matrix basis, various discipline experts (track, catenary, signaling, telecom, and operations), as well as future designers.\n\nExperience Required\n15+ years in the rail industry: design, construction, and maintenance\nMinimum 2 years in a management or equivalent role overseeing rail infrastructure maintenance, ideally including track and/or catenary\nHigh technical expertise and autonomy in HSR infrastructure maintenance and asset management, including: Asset lifecycle planning and condition-based maintenance\nAt least one experience on a new high-speed rail line project\nEngineering degree (Master’s or equivalent required)\nCalifornia Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus\nFluent English (mandatory)\nProven leadership skills; ability to work in multicultural and international environments\nRigorous, autonomous, with excellent written and verbal communication skills\nAble to adapt communication from concise client summaries to detailed technical briefs for designers\nHigh technical expertise and autonomy, especially in HSR infrastructure maintenance\n In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected compensation range for this role is $190,000 to $220,000 annually.
