This will include the motorway and tunnel environment covering the Eastern Distributor, Cross City Tunnel, M5 East, M5 South-West, M4 West, M4 East, M8, M4-M5 Link and Rozelle Interchange - 40km's of interconnected tunnels and open road motorways.\nReporting to the M&E Supervisors, these positions are responsible for maintaining the Mechanical and Electrical equipment in both open road & tunnel environments working in a team of skilled M&E Technicians including inspecting and maintaining the following systems amongst other tasks in an industrial environment.\nHV&LV Electrical Distribution Systems\n\nHVAC & Exhaust Systems\n\nFire Systems\n\nMechanical Ventilation Systems\n\nWater Treatment Facilities\n\nDrainage and Tunnel Sumps\n\nCandidates holding electrical qualification, MR licence and experience working in a similar environment are encouraged to apply, as are those from outside the industry with transferrable skill sets.\n Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications\nElectrical licence\n\nWhite Card\n\nAustralian C Class (or above) Drivers Licence\n\nRight to Work in Australia\n\nDrive and enthusiasm to be part of one of the biggest infrastructure projects in NSW\n\nA strong work ethic\n\nProblem solving / strong customer results orientation\n\nUnderstanding and commitment to occupational health and safety requirements and the environment\n\nExperience/willingness to work shifts over a rotational roster including nights, some weekends and occasional public holidays as part of.\n\n Highly desirable:\nHV Switching\n\nFull ARC Licence\n\nIndustrial maintenance experience\n\nRoadways equipment maintenance experience\n\nRoster and Pay:\nThis role operates on a rotating 12-hour day/night shift roster (typically 4 on/4 off or 5 on/5 off), offering excellent earning potential in line with an Enterprise Agreement.\nBase rate: $50.51/hr\n\nNight shift loading: +30%\n\nWeekend rate: 200% (double time)\n\nOvertime: paid at 200%\n\n5 weeks annual leave\n\nRDO accrual\n\nAdditional Information:\nThis is a great opportunity to join a global infrastructure business and contribute to the performance, resilience and long-term value of one of Sydney’s most critical transport networks.\nMust have right to work in Australia and undertake pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol testing, criminal history & drivers licence checks along with psychometric testing where relevant will be conducted.\nApplicants will be contacted by email or phone initially.
