In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6, with a focus on transportation and logistics initiatives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage complex transportation planning scenarios.\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives\nPerform critical path analysis and identify scheduling risks, bottlenecks, and mitigation strategies\nManage resource allocation and capacity planning across multiple transportation projects\nCreate and update project baselines, tracking actual progress against planned schedules\nGenerate detailed scheduling reports and dashboards for stakeholder communication and decision-making\nAnalyze project data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for schedule optimization\nCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and operational teams to gather scheduling requirements and constraints\nEnsure compliance with project management methodologies and organizational scheduling standards\nMonitor schedule performance and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines\nSupport project teams in resolving scheduling conflicts and resource constraints\nMaintain documentation of scheduling assumptions, constraints, and change requests\n 5+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management\n3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 (advanced proficiency required)\nProven experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain project planning\nStrong knowledge of project scheduling methodologies and best practices\nProficiency in critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analysis\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nExperience with stakeholder communication and reporting\nFamiliarity with project management tools and software (Microsoft Project or similar tools)\nKnowledge of transportation industry practices and logistics operations (preferred)\nExperience with schedule optimization and resource leveling
