Working alongside the EGIS Delivery Manager, you will help coordinate project management activities across planning, scope, budget, reporting and delivery performance to ensure effective execution of the engineering programme.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in project management within a major engineering environment, gaining exposure to large multidisciplinary teams, complex stakeholder interfaces and internationally recognised project management practices.\nWhy Join Us\nBe part of one of the UK's most significant clean energy programmes.\nDevelop your project management expertise within a complex, multidisciplinary engineering environment.\nWork alongside experienced project directors, delivery managers and technical leaders on a nationally important project.\nGain hands-on experience across planning, project controls, cost management, change management and programme delivery.\nBenefit from structured professional development and opportunities to progress towards Project Manager and Senior Project Manager roles within Egis.\nMust have the Right to work in the UK\n3 days in the Bristol office\n Key Responsibilities\nSupport the EGIS Delivery Manager in the day-to-day management of engineering delivery across multiple workstreams.\nAssist in maintaining integrated project schedules, monitoring progress against key milestones, identifying variances and supporting recovery planning where required.\nMonitor project scope, ensuring agreed deliverables, assumptions and changes are accurately tracked and reported.\nSupport budget and cost monitoring by reviewing expenditure, resource utilisation, forecasts and cost performance against approved budgets.\nPrepare weekly and monthly project performance reports, dashboards and management presentations covering schedule, cost, scope, risks and delivery status.\nCoordinate project reviews and progress meetings, ensuring actions are captured, assigned and followed through to completion.\nAssist in maintaining project management registers, including action logs, decision registers, assumptions and lessons learned.\nSupport change management activities by helping prepare impact assessments, maintaining change logs and coordinating approvals.\nWork closely with discipline leads and building managers to consolidate progress information, identify delivery risks and escalate issues where appropriate.\nSupport resource planning activities by monitoring workforce requirements against programme needs.\nContribute to the preparation of client reports, governance packs and consortium reporting.\nPromote effective project management practices, continuous improvement and collaboration across the engineering teams.\n Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.\nPrevious experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role, preferably within engineering, construction, infrastructure or energy.\nGood understanding of project management principles including planning, cost control, scope management and risk management.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project data and produce clear reports.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.\nExperience with project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project would be advantageous.\nExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAPM, PRINCE2 or other project management qualifications (or working towards them) would be beneficial.\nInterest in the nuclear sector or major infrastructure projects is desirable.\n We are committed to our planet:\nIn each project we design, engineer and operate we care deeply about the legacy we’re leaving behind.
