Join a team where innovation is encouraged, collaboration is valued, and your work helps build a more sustainable future.\n We are looking for a Project Manager, Communications in our Sacramento, CA office.\nThis role is responsible for managing communications systems throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement through testing, commissioning, and operational handover.\nThe ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders to successfully deliver complex communications systems.\nThe Impact You’ll Make (Job Responsibilities)\nLead the delivery of communications systems through design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and operational handover.\nManage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, change management activities, and stakeholder engagement.\nCoordinate communications activities and interfaces across engineering, operations, technology, and infrastructure teams.\nManage suppliers, contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure successful project execution.\nOversee the integration and delivery of communications technologies, including fiber networks, radio systems, telecommunications infrastructure, operational communications, and control center systems.\nSupport regulatory, permitting, licensing, and compliance activities required for system implementation and operation.\nLead testing, commissioning, system integration, defect resolution, operational readiness, and final acceptance activities.\n The Expertise You’ll Bring (Qualifications)\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n10+ years of experience delivering telecommunications, operational communications, transportation technology, or infrastructure projects.\n10+ years of project management experience leading complex infrastructure, transportation, or technology programs.\nProven experience managing communications systems through design, integration, testing, commissioning, and operational acceptance.\nExperience with fiber optic networks, IP/MPLS systems, radio communications, LTE, private wireless networks, mission-critical communications, or similar technologies.\nStrong understanding of systems integration, operational communications, and multidisciplinary project delivery.\nDemonstrated ability to manage contractors, suppliers, budgets, schedules, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder coordination on large-scale infrastructure projects.\n Why You'll Thrive at Egis\nAt Egis, you'll do more than build your career-you'll help shape the future of infrastructure.
