In this role you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects ensuring costeffectiveness and adherence to budgets.\nPrepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects\nAnalyse costs value and risks associated with tenders and contracts\nConduct feasibility studies to estimate materials time and labour costs\nPrepare bills of quantities and other tender documents\nManage analyse and report on commercial and contractual aspects throughout the project lifecycle\nNegotiate and agree on interim valuations claims and final accounts\nAdvise on procurement strategy and contractual procedures\nAllocate work to subcontractors and manage subcontractor accounts\nIdentify analyse and develop responses to commercial risks\nProvide cost advice and forecasting throughout the construction process\nEnsure compliance with local building regulations and standards\n\nQualifications: \nBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field\nMinimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost engineering \nRail projects experience is a must\nProficiency in quantity surveying software\nStrong mathematical and analytical skills\nExcellent knowledge of construction methods and materials\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel\nFamiliarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM)\nStrong contract administration skills\nExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilities\nAbility to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines\nEffective communication and negotiation skills\n\nRemote Work: \nNo\n\nEmployment Type:
