The role supports the Project Manager / Supervision Team Leader in ensuring that all works are delivered in compliance with contract requirements, approved designs, technical specifications, relevant standards, and project schedules.\n Key Responsibilities\nSupervise construction activities and monitor contractor performance on site.\nEnsure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations.\nReview and approve contractor submissions, including work programmes, method statements, materials, and shop drawings.\nMonitor construction progress and proactively identify delays, risks, and implementation issues.\nVerify quantities, site measurements, and contractor payment applications.\nSupport the evaluation and assessment of claims, variations, and extension of time requests.\nEnsure compliance with occupational health & safety (OHS) standards and environmental and social safeguards.\nCoordinate with contractors, airport operators, government authorities, and other stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate site records and prepare progress and technical reports.\nSupport testing, commissioning, defect rectification, and project close-out activities.\nQualifications & Experience\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Airport Engineering, or a related discipline.\nProfessional Engineer (PE/PRC Licensed Civil Engineer) designation is preferred.\nPostgraduate qualifications in Transportation, Infrastructure, Airport, Bridge, or Construction Management are an advantage.\nExperience\nMinimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision, construction management, or engineer's representative roles on major infrastructure projects.\nProven experience administering contracts under FIDIC Conditions of Contract, including claims management, variations, dispute resolution, and contractor performance management.\nDemonstrated experience in one or more of the following sectors:Bridges and bridge rehabilitation projects\nAirport and aviation infrastructure projects\nRunways, taxiways, aprons, and airside facilities\nHighways, expressways, roads, and transportation infrastructure\nRail and transit infrastructure\nLarge-scale civil and building projects\n\nExperience supervising the construction of major transportation infrastructure, including bridge structures, airport terminals, airfield pavements, elevated structures, interchanges, and associated utilities.\nProven track record in coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, contractors, government agencies, airport authorities, and project consultants.\nExperience on projects funded by World Bank, ADB, JICA, AIIB, EBRD, or other international financing institutions is highly desirable.\nPrevious experience on airport expansion, runway rehabilitation, bridge construction, bridge widening, cable-stayed bridges, long-span bridges, aviation infrastructure modernization, or major transport corridor projects will be highly regarded.\n Skills & Competencies\nStrong construction supervision and contract administration skills\nSolid knowledge of engineering standards and project delivery processes\nEffective communication and reporting skills\nStakeholder coordination and management capability\nProblem-solving and risk identification ability\nProficiency in written and spoken English\n Willingness to be site-based\nAbility to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment","description_format":"text","description_chars":4305,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":10,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[{"language":"English","level":"All levels","optional":false}]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Science & Engineering"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-22T08:55:40Z"}],"liveness":{"score":61,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.606,"p_room":1,"age_days":8,"expected_fill_days":49,"reasons":["conf:13","stale_co","velocity","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-09-30T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/egis-group-resident-engineer-bridge","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/egis-group-resident-engineer-bridge.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-30T06:25:24Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4493,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":507,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-01T00:00:00Z"}}}
