Civil Engineer EIT with 2 years of experience with transportation projects and managing KDOT and KTA design projects.\nThe Impact You'll Make\nApply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation-related infrastructure.\nPerform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.\nWork with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.\nMethodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.\nClearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.\nPerform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.\nMay conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.\nAssist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.\n The Expertise You'll Bring\nB.S. in Civil Engineering.\nEIT certification is required or will be obtained within 6 months.\n0 to 4 years of roadway design experience.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong problem Solver.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nExperienced utilizing MicroStation a plus.\nExperience with Open Roads Designer a plus.\n Why You'll Thrive at Egis\nAt Egis, you'll do more than build your career-you'll help shape the future of infrastructure.
