We are seeking a mid-level engineer who not only excels in technical design but also enjoys contributing to team leadership, client engagement, and cross-disciplinary coordination to improve local communities.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nTechnical Design and Analysis:\nCompleteanalysis and design of various transportation structures including bridges, retaining walls and box culverts ; \nUse computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents ; \nTake ownership for projects and lead the preparation of plans, reports and specifications for projects. \nClient Facing and Team Coordination:\nCollaborate with internal teams and clients to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring strong communication throughout the design process.\nServe as a client liaison, attending meetings, presenting solutions, and building relationships with stakeholders.\nWork closely with transportation, environmental, and planning teams on multi-disciplinary projects to integrate structural solutions into broader project contexts.\nSkills:\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.\nProven ability to lead meetings, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.\nPassion for both the technical success and community impact of a project, preferred.\n5-10 years of previous Bridge & Structures Engineering experience.\nMust have working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.\nProficiency in applicable bridge design software and structural analysis techniques is required.\nMust have familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD and other applicable software common to the field of structural and civil engineering.\nProject Management experience and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members is highly valued.\nWell established industry (client and colleague) relationships and a willingness to help lead or support proposal
