alarm and detection system design submissions at various stages of design and during construction.\nReview drawings, specifications, design reports, calculations, equipment schedules, models and other technical submissions.\nReview the design and application of:Addressable fire alarm systems.\nAutomatic fire detection systems.\nSmoke, heat, flame and other specialist detection systems.\nAspirating smoke detection systems.\nBeam detection systems.\nManual fire alarm and notification systems.\nEmergency voice/alarm communication systems.\nFire alarm control and annunciation systems.\nFirefighter communication systems, where applicable.\n\nVerify detector types, spacing, coverage, zoning and device locations against applicable code requirements.\nReview fire alarm loop configurations, system architecture, circuit arrangements and equipment selection.\nReview power supply, standby power and battery calculation requirements.\nReview audibility and visual notification requirements and experience in fire alarm and detection system design, engineering and/or technical design review.\nMinimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), preferably involving authority/Civil Defence submissions and approvals.\nStrong knowledge of NFPA 72 and other applicable fire alarm and life safety requirements.\nRelevant NFPA certification, such as CFPS, CFI-II, CFPE.\nDemonstrated experience in the technical review of fire alarm and detection systems for complex buildings and developments.\nExperience reviewing fire alarm interfaces with fire protection, firefighting, smoke control and alternative fire suppression systems.\nFamiliarity with local Civil Defence requirements and authority approval processes.\n The role involves the technical review and compliance verification of fire alarm system designs, including drawings, design reports, calculations, specifications, models, material submittal, and associated documentation, against applicable fire codes, standards, and Saudi Civil Defence
