Egis’ long history of providing comprehensive engineering, consulting, and project management services makes it a trusted partner for regional governments, investors, and developers\n Review fire protection and firefighting design submissions at concept, schematic, detailed design and Shop drawings.\nReview fire protection drawings, specifications, design calculations, equipment schedules, technical reports and supporting documentation.\nReview the design and adequacy of systems including:Automatic sprinkler systems.\nFire hose reel systems.\nFire hydrant and wet/dry riser systems.\nFire pumps and associated pump rooms.\nFire water storage tanks and water-supply arrangements.\nFoam-based fire suppression systems.\nWater mist systems.\nClean-agent fire suppression systems.\nPre-action and deluge systems.\nKitchen hood suppression systems, where applicable.\nOther special-hazard and alternative fire suppression systems.\n\nReview system zoning, hydraulic demand, water supply, equipment arrangement and system interface requirements.\nVerify that design calculations and equipment selections are consistent with the proposed fire protection strategy and applicable requirements.\n Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline.\nNFPA professional certification -
