We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.\nJob Summary:\nWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Senior Planner at Egis. As a key role on the Project, the Senior Planner is responsible for carrying out planning duties across the Old Oak Common project for MEP packages as guided by the Lead Planner.\nThe role will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust control of the programme. This includes providing active support to the project and programme team in all planning and reporting activities. This role would suit a collaborative individual with great leadership and communication skills who enjoys multi-tasking, loves a busy working environment and thrives under pressure. The role has the following parameters, working in tandem with our Project Controls and Planning team:\nThis Old Oak Common Station Project role requires a site presence of 3 days a week.\n Key Responsibilities:\nDevelop the scope and work breakdown structure for the different parts of the delivery programme, including the capture of key assumptions.\nWork closely with the Project Controls / Planning team to ensure that the programme, budget and risk baselines are consistent and integrated.\nSupport the Head of Planning in making timely submissions of Clause 32 programmes\nManage and control the programme comments made by the main Contractor and ensure timely close out.\nProduce and submit Programme communications on CEMAR and manage the regular follow up discussions with the main Contractor to ensure we maintain an Accepted Programme throughout the duration of the project.\nLiaise with the Design Team and ensure design deliverables are managed and tracked regularly on the programme including the impact on procurement and construction.\nLiaise with the Quality & Assurance team on a continuous basis and ensure hand over deliverables are managed and tracked regularly in the programme. • Align the technical and construction Assurance processes to the programme and track and control deliverables.\nImplement Earned Value Analysis (EVA) by integrating cost and programme parameters.\nCoordinate with the commercial team and align on the Key Performance Indicators including SPI and CPI. Provide critical analysis when deviation from the baseline occurs.\nCarry out time impact assessment for the changes in accordance to clause 62 of the contract and the change control process.\nAble to manage and chair a programme workshop to review time impact assessments with the wider team and propose mitigation measures.\nAble to integrate the Tender Event Schedule with the programme and implement logic reflecting procurement relationship with design and construction. Track long lead items from the programme including any impact to the budget, Target Price and installation.\nUpdate Programme for Actual progress on site in line with the Site Shift Reports. \n Previous experience in building construction, MEP experience is a plus. (railway stations preferred)\nExperience in a Senior Planning position\nProficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project is a plus.\nProven track record of successfully delivering major projects within a contractor environment.\nExcellent people management and development skills\nExcellent communication, negotiation and client management abilities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nWillingness to travel as required for project assignments.\nExcellent time management, prioritisation, and troubleshooting abilities.\nStrong attention to detail, quality focus, and methodical working style.\nAdaptability in a dynamic environment with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.\nDesirable :\nDegree in Project Management, Engineering or a related field\nChartered project manager or similar and member of a related professional body\nRail sector knowledge\n We are committed to our planet\nIn each project we design, engineer and operate we care deeply about the legacy we’re leaving behind.
