# Logistics Coordinator

1. Import & Shipment Coordination Handle import shipment operations in coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation providers, under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor. Obtain and compare freight and transportation quotations, evaluate available carriers and shipping services based on cost, transit time, and shipment requirements, and submit recommendations to the Logistics Supervisor. Coordinate rate negotiations with transportation providers and freight forwarders as directed by the Logistics Supervisor. Coordinate shipment scheduling and the movement of goods between transportation providers, warehouses, and relevant internal departments. 2. Shipment Tracking & Follow-up Monitor shipment schedules, estimated arrival dates, and delivery status, ensuring timely updates and reporting anticipated delays to the Logistics Supervisor. Track shipping discrepancies, delays, and documentation errors, coordinate corrective actions, and escalate unresolved issues to the Logistics Supervisor.
