Design Coordination\nCoordinate between architectural, structural, MEP, civil, landscape, infrastructure, specialist\nsystems, and other disciplines.\nIdentify and resolve interdisciplinary design conflicts and interface issues.\nLead design coordination meetings and ensure that agreed actions are properly recorded\nand followed up.\nReview and monitor BIM coordination and clash detection processes where applicable.\nEnsure that design interfaces between the Design Consultant and Contractor are clearly\ndefined and effectively managed.\nC. Supervision Consultant and Contractor Coordination\nAct as the Client/PMO's design management focal point with the Design Consultant.\nCoordinate with the Supervision Consultant regarding design-related issues arising during\nconstruction.\nMonitor Contractor design submissions, shop drawings, material proposals, technical\nsubmissions, and design-related RFIs from a design management perspective.\nMonitor the availability and adequacy of approved design information required for\nconstruction activities.\nEnsure that design changes resulting from site conditions, coordination requirements are\nproperly documented and approved.\nCoordinate the close-out of outstanding design issues and ensure that final/as-built design\ndocumentation is properly compiled.\nD. Design Quality and Compliance\nEnsure that designs comply with the approved project brief, applicable local regulations,\ninternational standards, authority requirements, and relevant codes.\nReview design documentation for completeness, consistency, coordination, and\nconstructability.\nMonitor design quality and identify potential risks or deficiencies at an early stage.\nEnsure that authority requirements and approvals are incorporated into the design\ndevelopment process.\nSupport value engineering initiatives while maintaining the required functionality, quality,\nand architectural intent.\nReview proposed alternatives and assess their technical and functional implications.\nE. Program and Commercial Coordination\nMonitor design activities against the master project program.\nIdentify potential design-related delays and proactively develop mitigation measures.\nCoordinate with the planning team regarding design deliverables, approvals, procurement\nrequirements, and construction priorities.\nIdentify design changes that may have cost or program implications and ensure appropriate\nassessment and approval.\nSupport the commercial team in assessing the technical implications of design changes and\nvariations.\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree: Architecture Engineering.\nMinimum 10-15 years of overall professional experience, with substantial experience in\ndesign management and coordination.\nProven experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams and consultants.\nPrevious experience on large-scale educational, university, healthcare, commercial, or\nmixed-use projects is preferred.\nExperience working within an Owner/Client, PMO, Project Management Consultant, or\nDesign Management environment is highly desirable.\nStrong experience coordinating between Client, Design Consultant, Supervision Consultant,\nand Contractor.\nDemonstrated experience in managing design during both pre-construction and construction\nstages.\nExperience with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design coordination is
