Faced with the challenges of climate change and the transition to a decentralised energy system, EHG seeks to provide high performance and cost-effective fuel cell solutions to our clients and partners.\nTo help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop the cell and stack architecture at the heart of our compact, high power density fuel cell products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign/conceptualise fuel cell stack components such end plates, compression and clamping hardware\n\nProduce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GD&T) with stack tolerance analysis\n\nApply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles to stack components\n\nSupport prototyping, stack build, leak and performance testing\n\nWork coordination between R&D and production team\n\nWork with various suppliers for component orders\n\nMaintain BOMs, work with PDM and engineering changes in PLM\n\nSkills and Experience Required:\nBSc/MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory\n\nMinimum 4-5 years of mechanical design experience in an engineering hardware business; fuel cells or electrolysers an advantage\n\nProficiency with 3D CAD (ex.
