Our team does more than identify problems- we provide solutions.\n We are seeking a remote Senior Data Analyst to join the team.\nYour Primary Responsibilities:\nTechnical Expertise and Execution\nPrimary responsibilities will fall within the Technical Expertise and Execution focus area, as part of the core technical team within the Remediation Service Line. Additional assignments will include providing technical support to projects across multiple service lines including Sediment & Risk Assessment, Business Services Group, Allocation & Litigation Support, and Potentially Responsible Parties. Specific responsibilities may include:\nAssisting in the management of EHS Support’s centralized environmental data warehouse.\nAssisting with development of standards and procedures for data management process improvements.\nDeveloping agency-specific electronic data deliverables to comply with data submission requirements.\nActively communicating and coordinating with project managers, laboratories, and/or other team members to acquire data packages of varying formats to be imported to a centralized database system.\nObtaining, cleaning, reviewing, synthesizing, and visualizing environmental data in an organized and concise manner.\nGenerating and documenting reproducible scripts and tools to improve data cleaning and analysis processes.\nRunning, modifying, and developing reports and queries to ensure data quality and accuracy.\nDeveloping clear, technically accurate data visualization work products to support analysis and presentation of multiple types of datasets.\nAssisting in GIS and spatial data analysis as needed via custom R or other script generation for figure, table, and web map creation.\nSupporting the preparation of expert reports for litigation purposes and preparation of products for expert testimony.\nActing as an advisor in developing budgets and proposals for large scale analytical chemistry, geoscience, and data management projects.\nCoordinating with internal and external clients to provide data management solutions.\nEngaging in technical writing to report findings and interpretations of data analysis to support investigation objectives.\nEnhancing the technical capabilities of the team by expanding the knowledge base, improving internal processes, and developing innovative technical approaches.\nGeneral expectations of the technical role include:\nAbility to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities, with ability to self-manage priorities, deadlines, and budgets\nCapable of working both independently and in a team environment\nSelf-directed learner with critical thinking and analytical skills\nCuriosity and an affinity for solving problems\nAbility to explain technical concepts to technical and lay audiences\nAttention to detail in terms of technical deliverables, plans, reports, etc.\nEngage in independent learning via webinars, conferences, peer-reviewed publications, internal knowledge shares, strategic growth project tasks, etc.\nTravel, as needed based on client and project needs.
