{"id":3515089,"url":"https://alion.io/job/eia-ma-manager","title":"M&A Manager","company":{"id":70788,"name":"EIA","domain":"eia.gov.ae","url":"https://alion.io/company/eia","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workable","truth_index":null},"role":"Finance","role_family":"Finance","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates"],"countries":["AE"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-30T10:01:34Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-30","last_verified_at":"2026-11-05T02:54:30Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":5,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":5},"description":"The M&A Manager assists the M&A Director within the strategic assets team by leading M&A deal executions across various sectors in line with the strategy of the EIA.\n Responsibilities and duties\nManage the execution of M&A transactions Work alongside the various industry / sector teams within strategic assets to formulate the investment thesis, and to conduct preliminary assessment (strategic, financial and legal) of a potential strategic opportunity to reach a “go/no-go” decision \n Build financial models and conduct financial and valuation analysis in relation to a specific M&A targets (including sensitivity and scenario analysis)\n Work alongside the sector teams to develop a framework for synergy assessment\n Prepare internal presentations / IC (Investment Committee)memos in relation to presenting specific opportunities and to seek investment approval\n Responsible for leading all aspects of M&A transaction execution, including liaising with internal risk, legaland finance\n Execute negotiation with target and its shareholders\n Provide reporting to CSAO(Chief Strategic Assets Officer) and Investment Committee members on transaction progress \n Liaise with sector team on sector specific transaction concerns\n Engage and oversee the workstreams of various advisors appointed in relation to M&A transactions\n Lead & manage the commercial due diligence advisors to scrutinize business of target and sector \n Coordinate with banking advisors to oversee overall transaction execution, as well as be involved in transaction negotiations, transaction structuring, and valuation assessment (with sensitivities)\n Coordinate with financial advisors to oversee financial due diligence \n Provide input to sector teams on deal pipeline and market opportunities.\n Build / maintain network of financial advisors / dealmakers / PE players / SWFs(Private Equity and Sovereign Wealth Funds)\n Inform sector teams of relevant potential upcoming deals that could be of interest to EIA\n Requirements\n Bachelors Degree (Finance, Business or Economics preferred)\n Masters degree in preferred.
