This role helps develop, test and support solutions while managing risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes across multiple initiatives. The AI Engineer contributes technical expertise to assigned initiatives while continuously improving skills and delivery effectiveness. \n\nSupports engineering delivery across complex AI initiatives, ensuring alignment to business objectives and technical standards.\n\nSupports delivery of AI solutions, including Microsoft Copilot experiences, AI agents, and Cowork skills, spanning design, development, testing, evaluation, and deployment.\n\nPartners with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.\n\nCollaborates with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects to align Copilot, agent, and AI solutions with business needs.\n\nSupports the creation of AI agents and Cowork skills and their integration with the Power Platform, cloud platforms, and third-party APIs.\n\nSupports adoption and application of Azure AI Foundry and related model tooling to build, evaluate, and deploy AI solutions.\n\nIdentifies, manages, and mitigates risks, dependencies, and technical challenges across initiatives.\n\nMonitors delivery performance and ensures adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.\n\nDrives continuous improvement in AI engineering practices, tooling, prompt and evaluation workflows, and delivery processes.\n\nEnsures compliance with organizational standards, governance, security, and responsible AI requirements.\n\nResolves technical and delivery issues while managing trade-offs and competing priorities, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.\n\nTranslates business needs into clear functional or technical AI solutions.\n\nProactively manages risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.\n\nEnsures quality, responsible-AI alignment, and alignment to business objectives.\n\nDemonstrates sound judgment and problem-solving, and influences outcomes without authority.\n\nRecognized as a go-to resource in the AI, Copilot, and agent-development domain.\n\nEarns stakeholder trust and confidence.\n\nWho You Are\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. \n\n0-3 years of relevant experience in software engineering or technical delivery roles. \n\nHands-on experience building AI solutions, Microsoft Copilot (and Copilot Studio), AI agents, and Cowork skills, with the Power Platform, cloud platforms (Azure), and Azure AI Foundry. \n\nExperience delivering enterprise-level technology solutions in Agile or iterative environments preferred. \n\nKnowledge and Skills\nKnowledge of Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, AI agent creation, and building and maintaining Cowork skills. \n\nExperience with Azure AI Foundry and related model tooling to build, evaluate, and deploy AI and agent solutions. \n\nUnderstanding of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages) and cloud platform (Azure) architecture, security, and scalability. \n\nFamiliarity with large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation techniques. \n\nAbility to translate business needs into clear functional and technical AI solutions. \n\nSkilled in managing risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and competing priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives. \n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across technical and business teams. \n\nSound judgment and problem-solving, with a commitment to quality, governance, security, responsible AI, and alignment with enterprise architecture and OST priorities.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.\nMaking an Impact TogetherPeople join Eide Bailly for the opportunities and stay because of the culture.
