This role partners with stakeholders and delivery teams to define product vision, manage backlogs, and deliver value-driven solutions. The Senior Product Owner balances strategic thinking with execution, manages risks and priorities, and ensures consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes aligned to organizational goals.\n\nLeads product ownership for complex products, platforms, or processes within defined scope.\n\nBuilds strong relationships with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize productrequirements.\n\nDefines and communicates product vision, goals, and roadmaps aligned to business objectives.\n\nOwns and manages the product backlog, ensuring priorities reflect value, risk, and deliveryreadiness.\n\nOversees backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Scrum ceremonies as the voice of thecustomer.\n\nTranslates business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.\n\nCollaborates with delivery teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.\n\nMonitors product progress, evaluates outcomes, and adjusts priorities based on feedback andperformance.\n\nIdentifies and manages risks, dependencies, and trade-offs related to product delivery.\n\nSupports solution design efforts to ensure alignment with product vision and technical standards.\n\nDrives continuous improvement through performance insights, retrospectives, and user feedback.\n\nCoordinates communication across stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners.\n\nSupports change management, training, and adoption efforts for delivered solutions.\n\nMaintains documentation, backlog artifacts, and product deliverables aligned to standards.\n\nEnsures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.\n\nMaintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.\n\nWho You Are\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related fieldrequired\n\nTypically 4–6 years of relevant experience in product ownership, business analysis, or deliveryroles\n\nExperience working within Agile and Scrum environments with backlog managementresponsibilities\n\nLed a large transformation program (12+ months)\n\nExperience with high-risk, data-intensive initiatives\n\nStrong backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder management experience\n\nExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams delivering technology solutions\n\nProduct Owner or Agile certification preferred\n\nStrong understanding of Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum, and product ownership practices.\n\nAbility to translate business strategy into product roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and well-definedrequirements, managing scope and trade-offs to maximize value delivery.\n\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across business andtechnical teams, including the ability to align stakeholders without direct authority.\n\nKnowledge of software development life cycle, system design, and integration concepts.\n\nExperience using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and collaboration platforms.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate product performance, assess businessimpact, and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints.\n\nStrong facilitation and collaboration skills to lead workshops, backlog refinement, and effectivecross-functional Agile team engagement.\n\nOrganizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\nAdaptability and a continuous improvement mindset focused on delivering high-quality outcomesin a changing environment.\n\nCommitment to delivering customer-focused, high-quality product outcomes.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.\nMaking an Impact TogetherPeople join Eide Bailly for the opportunities and stay because of the culture.
