The role combines traditional and digital PR; securing article placements and authoritative backlinks in finance and trading media, building a thought leadership program around our leaders and market analysts, and managing affiliate and introducing-partner relationships to make sure compliant, high-quality Eightcap content is published on their channels to drive AEO outcomes for the business.\nTo drive real impact in this role, you will:\nOwn the Content Calendar: Plan and deliver market-focused articles, commentary and explainers across FX, central bank policy, macro data, commodities, indices and crypto.\nBuild Our Thought Leadership: Find the angles, ghost-write and prepare our leaders and analysts for interviews, panels and podcasts.\nWin the Placements: Build relationships with journalists and editors and pitch tier-one and niche trading publications, including fast reactive commentary when markets move.\nEarn the Backlinks: Run digital PR and link-building campaigns with our SEO team and agency to earn high-authority links and drive AEO outcomes.\nRun the Affiliate Content Engine: Supply content kits to affiliates and introducing partners, then make sure the content goes live on schedule and to standard.\nGuard the Brand: Route content through Compliance and Legal and make sure everything meets our brand guidelines and each jurisdiction's financial promotion rules, risk warnings included.\nMeasure and Sharpen: Report monthly on coverage, share of voice, backlinks and referral traffic, manage award submissions and help us grow our presence in communities like Reddit.\nRequirements\nMinimum 3 years experience in content, editorial or digital PR, with published work in regulated markets, ideally financial markets, trading or investing.\nExcellent written English, with the range to write for beginners and experienced traders alike.\nA sound grasp of AEO and SEO, including how AI assistants find and cite content.\nConfidence using AI writing tools daily, with the judgement to edit and fact check their output and to translate content into other languages.\nExperience placing content with external publishers or earning media coverage.\nHands-on CMS experience and comfort with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush and Meltwater.\nOrganisation and self-direction, with the ability to juggle many pieces of work across several stakeholders.\nAn analytical mindset that tracks performance, finds insights and iterates on data.\nAn agile, accountable approach to getting things done in a fast-paced environment.\nA global mindset and comfort working across time zones, with experience localising content across APAC, EMEA and LATAM highly desirable.\nBonus, but not essential: fintech, trading or financial services experience, working knowledge of CFDs, forex, commodities and indices, multi-region campaign experience, and paid community management beyond Meta (TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Reddit).\nBenefits\nWe have built a performance-driven environment where you’re given the autonomy to drive change and the accountability to own the results.
