We're searching for a passionate Regional Human Resources Manager to help lead the way.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a Regional HR Manager who pairs strong operational instincts with the ability to coach, influence, and shape teams at scale. You'll partner closely with site and regional leaders to support a large, fast-paced, non-exempt workforce - driving consistency, accountability, and a great employee experience across locations.\nThis role sits at the intersection of frontline operations and People strategy: manager enablement, org planning, performance coaching, and employee relations, all while making sure our People systems and policies run smoothly across sites. It's a strong fit if you like solving operational problems, building trust with frontline leaders, and bringing data and process discipline to people challenges.\nKey Responsibilities\nMulti-Location Workforce Support\nPartner with site managers and regional leaders on workforce planning, driver retention, and team performance.\n\nDrive consistent People practices, policies, and manager behaviors across all sites.\n\nProvide hands-on support for non-exempt workforce needs - scheduling, attendance, and performance issues.\n\nSupport the launch and scale of new markets, ensuring HR infrastructure is in place from day one.\n\nBuild, monitor, and report on core people metrics (turnover, attendance, engagement, corrective actions) and drive targeted improvements.\n\nEmployee Relations & Compliance\nOwn first-line employee relations matters with empathy and operational clarity, escalating when needed.\n\nSupport documentation, investigations, corrective actions, and policy interpretation.\n\nMaintain compliance with wage-and-hour regulations, break rules, scheduling laws, and labor requirements across multiple states.\n\nPeople Operations Partnership\nCollaborate with People Ops on onboarding, data accuracy, HRIS workflows, leave management, and payroll alignment.\n\nSurface workforce trends and insights to improve systems and processes.\n\nHelp identify and roll out People tools that improve clarity, speed, and accuracy across the org.\n\nQualifications\n4+ years as a People Partner or HR Manager, ideally supporting large non-exempt teams in a fast-paced startup environment.\n\nStrong operational instincts and proven experience supporting multi-location environments.\n\nAbility to build process and maintain data accuracy that holds up as the company scales.\n\nExperience coaching frontline and mid-level managers.\n\nSound judgment and clear documentation habits when handling employee relations issues.\n\nDeep knowledge of wage-and-hour laws, attendance policies, and labor compliance.\n\nExcellent communicator, able to build trust quickly across all levels of the org.\n\nCompensation\nBase Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 plus equity\nBenefits\n8Fleet offers a competitive benefits package that may include:\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\n\nPaid time off and sick time\n\nCompany holidays\n\nEquity opportunities\n\n401(k) benefits\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\n8Fleet is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
