The Office is also responsible for the sustainable implementation of the transmission system and market development to meet the future needs of all users of electricity.\nWithin the Operations Office, the Readiness and Operational Change function comprises of a skilled team of professionals with backgrounds in engineering, business/commerce and legal. We partner with our colleagues in other Offices to deliver the changes to support the development of the power system and market. The team are responsible for ensuring that we are operationally ready for the future market and system and that the appropriate technology solutions are delivered. We also manage Governance, Risk, Compliance and Audit associated with our licence and other legal obligations and ensure ongoing compliance with change. The team engages with external regulatory, System operator and industry stakeholders both in Ireland and Europe on technical and market changes, on implementation of European codes and obligations and on compliance.\nThe Role\nThis role within Operations is focused on strengthening oversight of governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities linked to EirGrid’s regulated TSO obligations. The Data & Reporting Analyst will provide structured data, reporting and analytical support to help monitor compliance with licence conditions, European regulatory obligations and relevant industry codes. Working with teams across Operations, the role holder will develop and maintain clear reporting frameworks, dashboards and analysis to support TSO compliance monitoring, audit tracking, regulatory assurance and management decision-making.\nThe role will support a data-driven approach to TSO governance and compliance by tracking regulatory commitments, audit observations, remediation actions and performance indicators, and by highlighting trends, emerging risks and areas requiring management attention. The role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail and the ability to translate complex operational and compliance data into concise reporting that supports robust TSO oversight.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollect, analyse and interpret data relating to TSO governance, risk, compliance, audit and regulatory assurance activities. \nMaintain reliable datasets on regulatory obligations, compliance metrics, audit observations, risks and remediation actions. \nIdentify trends, anomalies and emerging risks to support management oversight of TSO obligations. \nDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility of TSO compliance, assurance and risk activities. \nProduce regular and ad-hoc reporting for senior management, internal governance forums and regulatory engagement. \nSupport monitoring and reporting of compliance with TSO licence conditions, European regulations and relevant industry codes. \nTrack compliance findings, observations, commitments and remediation progress. \nMaintain audit trackers, assurance metrics and evidence records to support TSO audit and assurance activity. \nProvide analytical support for audit planning, sampling, evidence tracking and reporting. \nPromote consistent data governance, definitions and quality controls across TSO compliance reporting. \nEnsure data used for reporting and analysis is accurate, consistent and complete. \nSupport improvements to reporting tools, dashboards and governance platforms used for TSO oversight. \nWork with stakeholders to improve automation, efficiency and clarity of compliance tracking and reporting. \nKnowledge, Skills & Experience\nEssential:\nDegree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, risk analytics, or a similar analytical role. \nStrong data analysis, interpretation and reporting skills, including the ability to identify trends, patterns and risks, and present complex information clearly. \nExperience using reporting and visualisation tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to produce dashboards, reports and performance metrics. \nGood understanding of data management, data governance, data quality and data integrity practices. \nAwareness of governance, risk and compliance environments, ideally within regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, financial services or public infrastructure. \nStrong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of data used in TSO reporting and assurance activities. \nStrong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise management reports, dashboards and documentation for governance forums. \nStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and deadlines while coordinating with stakeholders across Operations. \nDesirable:Professional certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or data management would be an advantage \nExperience supporting audit, compliance, risk management, or regulatory reporting activities would be beneficial \nClosing date for applications\n30th October 2026\n We value potential as much as experience.
