You will build and support data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and the Power BI semantic models, dashboards and reports that sit on top of them. You will work daily with onsite business analysts, data engineers and stakeholders, and you will own the development and support of the solutions you deliver, with direction from onsite leads on architecture and priorities.\nWhat it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:\n· You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry\n· You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance\n· You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards\no We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create innovative solutions\no We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation\no Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work\nWhat Work You Will Be Responsible For:\nMicrosoft Fabric & Data Engineering\nBuild and maintain data pipelines, Dataflows Gen2 and notebooks in Microsoft Fabric to ingest data from cloud and on-premises sources into Lakehouse and Warehouse.\nImplement transformations across a layered (medallion) architecture, applying agreed source-to-target mappings and business rules.\nBuild data quality and cleansing checks so reporting data is accurate and reconciles to source.\nMonitor pipeline runs and refresh schedules and troubleshoot failures and data discrepancies.\nPower BI Development & Reporting\nDesign, develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.\nBuild and optimize semantic models using star schema design, DAX measures, Power Query, incremental refresh and row-level security.\nDevelop paginated reports (Power BI Report Builder or SSRS) where formatted, print-ready output is required.\nTune report and model performance using Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio and refresh optimization.\nCollaboration & Support\nWork with onsite business analysts, data engineers and stakeholders to understand reporting needs.\nSupport requirement gathering, iterative development and user acceptance testing.\nProvide support for production reports and dashboards, including timely updates and defect fixes.\nAutomation & DevOps\nManage Power BI and Fabric assets in Git and promote changes through Azure DevOps or Fabric deployment pipelines.\nAutomate report refresh, subscriptions and distribution using Power BI Service.\nBuild and maintain Power Automate flows to trigger dataset refreshes and pipelines, distribute reports, send data alerts and route approvals.\nDocument data flows, models and support procedures.\nBasic Requirements\n3+ years of hands-on Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling and Power BI Service (workspaces, gateways, row-level security).\n1+ years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, and Dataflows Gen2 or notebooks).\n3+ years of SQL (T-SQL) experience, including complex queries, stored procedures and performance tuning.\nExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines with Fabric, Azure Data Factory or SSIS.\nHands-on experience building Power Automate flows (cloud flows, connectors, triggers and error handling), including integration with Power BI and Microsoft 365.\nStrong knowledge of data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling.\nAbility to connect Power BI to cloud and on-premises data sources.\nStrong problem-solving skills, with experience tuning BI solutions for performance.\nClear written and spoken communication, with the ability to work with onsite teams remotely.\nPreferred/ Desired Skills\nMicrosoft certifications such as PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst) or DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer).\nPython, PySpark or Spark SQL for data transformation in Fabric notebooks.\nExperience with SSRS paginated reports and Power BI Report Server setup and administration.\nExperience with CI/CD and DevOps practices for BI and data assets.\nFamiliarity with Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.\nExperience with finance or professional services data.\nAbout EisnerAmper:\nEisnerAmper is one of the largest accounting, tax, and business advisory firms, with nearly 5,000 employees and more than 450 partners across the world.
