As part of our HR Advisory and Outsourcing team, the Human Resources Manager will add value to our clients while gaining insight and exposure by working alongside our team of Human Resources experts.\nWhat it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:\nYou will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry\n\nYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance\n\nYou will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards\nWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions\n\nWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation\n\nShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work\n\nWhat Work You Will Be Responsible For:\nPlans, develops, recommends, and implements human resources activities, policies, procedures, and programs for an organization, assisting upper management as requested.\n\nManages activities relating to staffing, employee education and training, management development, labor relations, affirmative action, benefits administration, and salary administration.\n\nPlans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.\n\nKeeps records of insurance coverage, pension plan, and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.\n\nConducts benefits analyses.\n\nInvestigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers.\n\nParticipates in compensation and benefit surveys and/or conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate and remain apprised of current trends.\n\nWrites separation notices for employees separating with cause, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.\n\nPrepares employee handbooks; writes HR and operational policies.\n\nPrepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.\n\nHires, trains, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.\n\nMay represent company at HR related hearings and investigations.\n\nAdminister pre-employment tests to applicants.\n\nManages payroll processes.\n\nWrites job descriptions.\n\nUnderstands and applies labor, wage and hour laws.\n\nMay be required to occasionally work extended hours, or travel to/work from different firm offices and/or client locations.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.\n\nMinimum of 7 years of Human Resources experience.\n\nProfessional certifications such as CCP, SHRM, or SHRM-CP.\n\nPreferred/Desired Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in human resources or related field.\n\nAdvanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP).\n\nExperience with HRIS platforms.\n\nKnowledge of employment law, payroll and HR compliance.\n\nExperience administering HR policies, benefits programs, and performance management programs.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nThe Human Resources Manager must possess broad and demonstrable HR knowledge in the following areas:\nCompensation & Benefits\n\nEmployee Communications\n\nEmployee Data Management\n\nEmployee Relations\n\nEmployment Authorization\n\nEmployment Law\n\nFull-Cycle Recruiting\n\nHR Policy Administration\n\nHR Regulatory Compliance\n\nImmigration Administration\n\nOnboarding\n\nOrganizational Change Management\n\nPerformance Management Programs\n\nSafety Policies and Procedures\n\nSalary Program Administration\n\nTraining Delivery\n\nHuman Resource Management Systems (HRMS)\n\nEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
