We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.\nWhat it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:\nYou will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry\nYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance\nYou will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards\nWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions\nWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation\nShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work\nWhat Work You Will be Responsible For:\nBuild from the ground up a major SEC listed non-traded REIT\nBuild and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables\nManage and review the daily cash, accounting and financial reporting for the REIT\nPrepare and review financial statements including but not limited to balance sheet, income statement, stockholder equity, statement of cash flows\nPrepare and review general ledger and work paper files including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc.\nPreparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT\nPreparation of required monthly share class pricing\nHelp manage quarterly, year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field is required\n5+ years of fund accounting experience, including experience with REITs and/or real estate private equity funds\nFinancial statement preparation experience\nPreferred/Desired Qualifications:\nCPA, CFA or parts passed towards completion\nMaster’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field\nExperience using Yardi including Fixed Asset, Debt module\nExperience with NAV calculations, including management and performance fee calculations\nJoint Venture/ Non-controlling Interest experience\nWorking knowledge of Derivatives, Interest Rate swap, Credit Default Swaps\nLoans, Tax Liens, MSRs experience\nEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
