We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.\nWhat it Means to Work for EisnerAmper:\nYou will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry\n\nYou will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance\n\nYou will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards\nWe believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions\n\nWe understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation\n\nShowing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work\n\nWhat Work You Will be Responsible For:\nContribute toward a team covering one or more client relationships\n\nAssist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including but not limited to, Balance Sheet, Statement of Investments, Statement of Operations, Statement of Cash Flows, and Notes to Financial Statements\n\nPrepare general ledger and work paper files for accuracy and completeness, including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc\n\nPrepare Partner Capital reports including Partner P&L\n\nPrepare and calculate monthly interest accruals, management fees and capital allocations\n\nCalculate capital call and distribution notices, sources/uses of cash, and investor notices\n\nReconcile cash balances daily for multiple accounts\n\nCalculate quarter end final and estimated NAVs\n\nSupport the year-end audit process, in collaboration with the team, client, and auditors\n\nTrain and mentor junior staff\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required\n\n3+ years of experience in fund accounting and/or assurance serving Financial Services clients (hedge funds, private equity, or other alternative asset managers strongly preferred)\n\nPreferred/Desired Qualifications:\nPrior experience at a public accounting firm\n\nCPA or parts passed towards completion\n\nMaster’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field\n\nExperience using Yardi and/or MRI\n\nEisnerAmper is proud to be a merit-based employer.
