The ideal candidate will drive cloud modernization, establish backend engineering excellence, lead high-performing teams, and own technical decisions around system architecture, data management, and operational excellence.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure backend systems using Java and Spring ecosystem\n\n- Lead development and optimization of enterprise-grade microservices and distributed systems\n\n- Define backend engineering standards, architectural patterns, and best practices across teams\n\n- Mentor and coach backend engineers through technical reviews, design discussions, and skill development\n\n- Ensure high availability, observability, and performance optimization of backend services\n\n- Collaborate with product, architecture, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver integrated solutions\n\n- Lead cloud modernization initiatives and migrate legacy systems to cloud-native architectures\n\n- Drive API strategy and governance (REST, GraphQL, async APIs)\n\n- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting strategies across backend services\n\n- Conduct architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and proof-of-concept implementations\n\n- Establish data management strategies including database design, caching, and optimization\n\n- Lead security initiatives including secure coding, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management\n\n- Participate in hiring, conducting technical interviews, and building high-performing teams\n\n- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and implement SLA/SLO monitoring\n\nREQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:\n\n1.
