# Financial Controller - Projects & Performance

Key Duties and Responsibilities 1. Budgeting and Financial ForecastingPrepare and monitor annual budgets in coordination with the General Manager and operational managers. Develop monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts. Analyse variances between actual results, budgets and forecasts, identifying corrective actions. Monitor operating expenses, overheads and departmental budgets. Support management in preparing financial projections and business plans for new activities and projects. 2. Project Financial Control and ProfitabilityMonitor the financial performance of engineering projects in Mauritius and internationally. Track project budgets, actual costs, committed costs, revenues and profitability. Analyse project margins, cost overruns and financial risks. Monitor project progress against budgets and forecasts, including estimated costs to complete. Work with Project Managers to identify opportunities to improve project profitability. Ensure accurate allocation of employee costs, subcontracting expenses, travel expenses and other project-related costs. 3.
