recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Cybersecurity Analyst \n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time\n\nRole Summary\n\nThe role involves security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, risk assessment, and implementation of security controls.\nWe are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect the organization’s systems, networks, applications, and data from cyber threats.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.\nKeep up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.\nPerform basic threat hunting and IOC analysis.\nIdentify vulnerabilities and support remediation efforts.\nMonitor security systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments for suspicious activity.\nInvestigate phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and other security events.\nMonitor user access, authentication, and privileged accounts.\nAnalyze security logs and alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.\nInvestigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.\nSupport incident-response procedures, including containment and recovery.\nMaintain accurate documentation of security incidents and investigations.\nConduct security assessments and risk analysis.\nAssist with vulnerability scanning and penetration-testing activities.\nSupport compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, or CIS Controls.\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nUnderstanding of vulnerability management and risk assessment.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nBasic scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage.\nFamiliarity with EDR/XDR solutions.\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity principles and threat types.\nStrong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, and networking.\nKnowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and common attack techniques.\nExperience with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic.\nKnowledge of Windows and Linux security.\n\nQualifications\n\nDegree or Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nRelevant certifications are advantageous:\n Microsoft security certifications.\nCISSP\nGIAC certifications\nCEH\nCompTIA Security+\nBTL1\nCompTIA CySA+\n\nExperience:\n\nSenior: 5+
