Sets annual brand direction, builds campaign strategy and success metrics, ensures creative consistency and quality across touchpoints, leads the creative team, manages the client creative relationship, and drives creative strategy for new business pitches.\n\nRequirements\nWhat You'll Do\nSet the brand's key pillars, USPs and core brand message each year.\nEnsure these are rolled out consistently across all of the client's marketing departments and touchpoints.\nAct as the client's brand gatekeeper for all creatives, content and key messages, with final creative sign-off before anything goes out.\nDefine and evolve brand tone, and lead the annual refresh of the brand's look and feel.\nShape the creative direction of the annual marketing plan, including yearly themes and key campaign moments.\nBuild the thought strategy behind each campaign: the audience insight, the problem it solves and why the idea will work.\nDefine the big idea and narrative for each monthly campaign, delivered through events, social or brand collaborations.\nSet clear success measures for every campaign and use post-campaign results to sharpen future work.\nLead and develop the creative team across design, video and copy.\nReview work at concept, key visual and final stages, with direction that is clear, specific and actionable.\nOversee quality across all key output so the standard holds under any deadline.\nBuild the team's creative processes, review rhythm and standards.\nPresent the yearly plan, campaign strategies and key creative work to the client.\nManage the client relationship on creative strategy and creative direction, and join key meetings, briefings and creative reviews.\nLead creative strategy for new business pitches, from brief interpretation and insight to the big idea.\nShape the pitch narrative and creative concepts, working with the team to build the pitch deck.\nPresent and defend the creative strategy in pitch meetings.\nWhat We're Looking For\nOriginal thinker who brings new ideas, not safer versions of what came before.\nStrategic: can see the full year and the single post at once; every idea has a clear reason.\nCommercially minded: cares about performance and can prove it with data.\nA natural gatekeeper: protects the brand and knows when to hold the line or let ideas evolve.\nA real leader: gets the best out of the team and holds a high bar without micromanaging.\nClient-confident: presents with conviction, defends strong ideas and uses client feedback to improve work.\nWhat You Bring\nRequired\n7+ years of experience in creative roles, with time spent leading creative direction for brands.\nProven experience in brand strategy: defining brand pillars, positioning and key messaging.\nExperience setting campaign objectives and KPIs, and evaluating campaign performance.\nMarketing or creative agency experience.\nA track record of developing annual or long-term brand campaign platforms, not just one-off executions.\nExperience leading and developing a multidisciplinary creative team.\nStrong presentation skills and experience presenting creative work directly to clients.\nExperience leading creative strategy in new business pitches.\nA portfolio showing campaign ideas from big idea through to execution across events, social and brand collaborations.\nNice to Have\nExperience leading creative for automotive or EV brands.\nExperience with brand collaborations and partnerships.\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted creative workflows.\nFluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
