Here, you’ll be part of a company that values and champions new ways of thinking, work with dynamic individuals, and acquire new skills and experiences that will propel your career to new heights.\nMaking animals’ lives better makes life better - join our team today!\nYour day-to-day will include:\nLeverage Elanco’s Enterprise Data and PaaS/SaaS Platforms to deliver mission-critical product safety solutions.\nDirectly accountable for re-imagining the digital backbone of global Pharmacovigilance (PV) systems, transitioning legacy platforms into a modern, automated, and AI-driven ecosystem.\nProvide technical leadership in the design and execution of systems engineering solutions, driving standards across the R&D landscape to ensure a balance of modern innovation and pragmatic stability.\nPartner with enterprise architects to shape the technical roadmap for next-generation safety platforms, ensuring scalability, compliance, and seamless integration with the broader enterprise landscape (e.g., SAP ERP, Veeva RIM, Ennov).\nAct as a lead mentor and coach, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and decentralized command within product squads.\nDrive a continual modernization plan to bring legacy systems and data products in line with new enterprise standards.\nPartner with core engineering and security groups to ensure application integrity and safety.\nUse modern product approaches, such as rapid prototyping and continuous discovery, to influence and shape the business through partnership with Product Management, ensuring reliable and consistent delivery of solutions that end-users love.\nYou have the following technical skills and qualifications:\nEducation requirement - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or a foreign equivalent\nRelevant experience requirement - 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any related engineering/data science roles. Applicants must possess at least 5 years of experience in the following: (1) PaaS/SaaS including R&D SaaS platforms (Veeva RIM, PV, Aegis, and Ennov) and their application in life science drug research and product safety; (2) ensuring systems are 'audit-ready' through necessary controls in a regulated pharmaceutical GxP environment; (3) Public Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, GCP) and associated automation/integration services (Logic Apps, Databricks); (4) Engineering and delivering enterprise scale data solutions, with examples in the cloud (Azure based, GCP based, Oracle); (5) Software development practices including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and DevSecOps tooling; (6) Programming & Scripting including Python (OOP, Classes/Methods, custom packages) and Javascript; and (7) Data architecture and engineering methodologies (Domain driven data architecture, Scalable data pipelines, API-Centric Design, SQL/NoSQL, FAIR data principles).\n10% domestic travel required for support site-based product discovery and implementation.\nMust live within a commutable distance to the assigned Elanco Office location to meet 30 days per quarter work from office requirement.\nElanco is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status\nElanco may use automated tools, including AI, to support parts of our recruitment process, such as reviewing applications against job-related criteria and/or transferrable skills.
