You will help ensure processes operate safely, compliantly and efficiently while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, yield and throughput.\nYour Responsibilities:\nProvide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing, partnering with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Scheduling.\nDevelop a strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, unit operations and control strategies.\nLead and support deviation investigations and root cause analysis, identifying and implementing effective solutions.\nDrive process improvement and optimisation, reducing waste and variability while improving efficiency, yield and throughput.\nSupport Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including COMAH, DSEAR, process hazard reviews (PHRs) and safety/environmental investigations.\nAct as a technical SME during internal, external and customer audits.\nDevelop technical documentation, including PFDs and technical reports, and maintain relevant process safety information.\nSupport capital projects, including user requirements, equipment selection, commissioning and qualification activities.\nCoordinate and execute plant trials and implement process changes through site change-management processes.\nShare technical knowledge and coach colleagues across Technical Operations and Process Teams.\nWhat You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):\nDegree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.\nStrong understanding of chemical/process engineering principles and manufacturing processes.\nAbility to analyse technical problems and apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.\nAbility to work effectively across Operations, Quality and Engineering teams.\nWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):\n Chartered Chemical Engineer (IChemE) status or working towards chartership.\nExperience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.\nKnowledge of GMP, process safety, COMAH and/or DSEAR.\nExperience with process optimisation, deviation investigations, change management or capital projects.\nAdditional information:\nLocation: Speke, Liverpool, UK\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
